Online issuance, however, requires a public certificate, the installation of various security programs and access to a printer, which imposes limits of time and setting. When the certificate is intended for employment, immigration or study abroad, domestic issuance is not the end of the process. It must then go through translation and notarisation for the receiving country, an apostille and embassy legalisation in turn. Apostille Korea said it carries out issuance and those legalisation steps as one continuous flow.
