Apostille Korea said it is among the companies selected by an investment consortium formed by the accelerator Ensl Partners. Woori Bank, the Seoul Business Agency (SBA) and the venture capital firm Pathfinder H took part in the consortium. Eight startups were selected in total.

How the companies were selected

Ensl Partners is registered as the sixth accelerator designated by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. For this round it signed an investment consortium agreement with Woori Bank, the Seoul Business Agency and the venture capital firm Pathfinder H, and the partners identified the startups together. Eight companies were selected, including Apostille Korea. The signing ceremony with the heads of the selected companies was held at TIPS Town in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The event was held as the agreement ceremony for the second 2018 cohort of the technology startup scouter programme.

Support that follows selection

Alongside the investment, selected companies receive additional funding through the startup leap package. The dedicated acceleration programme runs for one year. It is built around sales growth, overseas expansion and links to follow-on investment. Ensl Partners said it intends to continue stage-by-stage investment support so that startups can move past the point where growth stalls. Apostille Korea is one of the companies covered by the programme.
