Apostille Korea said it has strengthened a one-stop service for obtaining, without a face-to-face visit, the Resident Registration (Full) certificate needed for proxy purchases under the mask rotation scheme. Applications can be filed without a computer, a printer or a digital certificate, and documents can be received by email or same-day delivery.
- Under the mask rotation scheme, each person may buy two masks on the weekday set by the last digit of their birth year.
- Children under 10 and people aged 80 or over may have masks bought for them, and the proxy must present identification and a Resident Registration (Full) certificate.
- A minor buying alone must bring a student card and a resident registration copy, together with the legal guardian identification and resident registration copy.

Buying government-supplied masks requires identification such as a resident registration card, a driving licence or a passport. Children under 10 and people aged 80 or over may have masks bought on their behalf, but in that case the proxy must also present identification and a Resident Registration (Full) certificate. If a parent buys masks for a child born in 2011, for example, the purchase is made on the Monday that corresponds to the final digit 1, by showing identification and a resident registration copy listing the child. People with disabilities may have masks bought by a proxy carrying a disability registration card on the relevant weekday, even if the proxy does not live with them. On the first day of the scheme some purchases were turned down at pharmacies because the proxy documents were missing.
